
To encourage the involvement of graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and young professors working in the general field, a few ISMZ travel awards and meeting registration awards are available. Please follow the instructions below to apply.
Scholarships will only be granted to those applicants who contribute an accepted oral presentation at symposium. The applicants will need to submit a resume (or Curriculum Vitae) with a list of publications, a short description of the research (no longer than 2 pages), and at least 1 recommendation letter (for graduate students and postdocs applicants only) to Dr. Kunhao Li at least a month before the conference to be eligible. The awards will be given at the symposium in the form of a reimbursement check. Please submit the corresponding receipts before or at the symposium to the symposium organizers to receive the check.
Reimbursement of up to $400 on travel expenses to the postdoctoral researchers or assistant professors (less than 4 years since appointment) from an accredited university in US or other countries around the world.
Reimbursement of up to $200 to graduate students currently enrolled in a graduate program towards a master’s or doctoral degree in an accredited university in US or other countries around the world.
